Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Timothy Verne Perryman, 53, held a BA from USC and had recently earned an MBA from California Lutheran University. He was a leader in a local Eagle Scouts group, an avid hiker, and a former Ontario Motor Speedway worker. He had lost his job as a financial analyst about 16 months earlier and was dealing with chronic heart and kidney problems, undergoing tests for possible prostate cancer, and possibly experiencing depression related to his declining health. On March 28, 2004, neighbors saw him walking south on Daylight Drive away from Garden Oaks Court around 2:00 p.m. He left behind six dollar bills, coins, credit cards, his Social Security card, family photos, and his cell phone, taking only his driver's license. Family believed he may have gone hiking in the nearby Santa Monica Mountains. No arrests have been reported, and he remains missing (NamUs MP3065).
