Stephanie Lyn Crane, 9, vanished after leaving the Challis bowling alley on the evening of October 11, 1993, in Challis, Idaho. She was last seen walking on Highway 93 toward Challis High School, about 500 yards from home. An extensive multi-county search found no trace. A small yellow pickup with a red pinstripe seen nearby was never identified. No one has ever been charged.

   Mother last saw Stephanie after dropping her at the Challis bowling alley, per the FBI.

2. Oct 11, 1993, about 6:00 p.m.

   Last seen walking on Highway 93 toward Challis High School.

3. Oct 11, 1993, about 8:16 p.m.

   Mother reported her missing after she failed to return home.

4. Oct 11, 2024

   Sheriff's 31-year anniversary release: a backcountry search earlier that year following an anonymous tip found nothing.
