Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
A girl aged 15 to 17 was found on October 16, 2012, concealed in a black garbage bag beside Walters Road in Houston, Texas; she had been dead three to six weeks. She wore a distinctive Smurfette T-shirt reading 'He Smurfs Me, He Smurfs Me Not,' cargo pants and a pink thong, and had a pronounced overbite, severe tooth decay, and growth-arrest lines in her thigh bones suggesting childhood malnutrition or illness. She was buried in an anonymous Harris County cemetery. At least 17 missing girls have been ruled out, and genetic-genealogy efforts through late 2024 concluded with no identification.
