Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
On October 29, 1996 a man and his nephew feeding ducks pulled a cardboard box tied with rope and wrapped in duct tape from a canal behind 13920 Lake Placid Court in Miami Lakes, Florida. Inside was the nude, decomposed body of a woman aged 25 to 35 with a tank top wrapped around her head. The cause of death was asphyxiation, ruled a homicide. She had a well-healed nasal fracture and South-American-style dental fillings; investigators believe she may have been of Colombian descent. Listed as Doe Network 785UFFL and NamUs UP6098; a 2021 look at familial genetics led nowhere. She was never identified.
