Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Matthew Donald Flores, 26, an Army veteran, arrived on the morning of March 24, 1994 for a training session at Applied Materials in Santa Clara, California, and was shot once in the back of the head in the parking lot at 3225 Oakmead Village Drive, on his ninth day of training. Security video showed a two door Ford Explorer from the early 1990s that appeared to be stalking the lot, and investigators have theorized mistaken identity. Flores left behind his wife Denise and a newborn daughter. The case is Santa Clara Police Cold Case 94-4062, no one has been charged, and it remains unsolved.
