Lisa McCrossan, 36, was discharged from Christiana Hospital at about 3:30 a.m. on April 24, 2015. The next afternoon a motorist saw a woman matching her description near Pulaski Highway and Appleby Road in Bear. At 5:31 a.m. on April 26, 2015, her body was found near the east shoulder of River Road between New Castle and Delaware City, and her death was ruled a homicide. No one has been charged. Delaware State Police renewed their public appeal on June 6, 2023.
