Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Leon Ellison, 17, disappeared on his birthday, March 29, 1994, after dropping his mother at work in Augusta, Georgia. He planned a trip to Regency Mall, then a 2 p.m. job interview at Applebee's on Wrightsboro Road, and never returned to pick his mother up. His car was later found at Regency Mall in the family's usual spot; investigators determined it had been moved, then brought back. His body was found about two weeks later, shot, in woods off Peach Orchard Road. Dozens of interviews and 50 polygraphs produced no charges.
