Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
The skeletal remains of a woman aged 25 to 35 were found by two boys in a palmetto thicket in Palm Coast, Florida on January 10, 1993; she had been dead two to three years and is believed a homicide victim. Long thought to be white, she was reclassified in 2021 through an Othram DNA profile as African American, possibly mixed, and traced to descendants of George Washington Coleman and Clarissa Minnick of Edgefield and Aiken counties, South Carolina. She still has no name. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office lists the case as Cold Case 93-754 with an open tip form; NamUs UP3037 remains active.
