Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Dorian Bluford, 32, took a one way flight on May 30, 2017, from Houston, Texas, to Knoxville, Tennessee, to start a new chapter near a friend. Less than six hours after arriving, he was murdered. At around 10 p.m. a woman called 911 after hearing screams from a wooded greenway, and police found Bluford dead, stabbed 37 times. No murder weapon was found, robbery was ruled out because his wallet and money were still on him, and no suspect has ever been named. The friend he met was questioned, was not charged, and has never been publicly named.
