Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Skeletal remains of a woman estimated 25 to 40 were found in a chimney at an apartment complex in Dorchester, Massachusetts, on October 14, 2005. The chimney had been used as an incinerator in the 1960s but was out of commission and blocked by an air-conditioning unit. She had distinctive dental work including a dental plate possibly made in the Caribbean region or by a Caribbean-trained dentist. Later forensic genealogy reported ancestry resolving to Brazil as place of origin. She is believed to have been born between 1965 and 1980 and to have borne a child or children. She remains unidentified.
