Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Ashley Marie Eiffert, 19 and seven months pregnant, drove her silver Ford Mustang on January 9, 2003, to a home in the Gentilly area of New Orleans to collect donated baby furniture and clothes. The account given by the woman she went to meet, that Eiffert argued by phone and was last seen crossing toward a gas station, has never been corroborated, according to her family. Her family says police did not investigate promptly. No arrest or charge has been reported in her disappearance. In January 2023 her mother renewed the public call for answers, 20 years on.
