Summary
What happened, as the record shows.
Angela Lee Freeman, 17 and four months pregnant, vanished on September 10, 1993, after being seen at a Pizza Hut parking lot in Petal, Mississippi. Her silver Honda hatchback was found that morning at the Old Mahned Bridge over the Leaf River, windows down, with blood in and around the car that DNA later confirmed was hers. Her purse and keys were never found, a search of the Leaf River found no body, and police initially treated her as a runaway despite the blood. No one has ever been charged. Her family held a memorial service in 2002.
